They may need a system they can see.
When every small task brings another reminder or another negotiation, it can wear you both out. A visual routine gives your child something concrete to check, complete, and feel proud of.
Use the Family Contract to agree on expectations together, then start with the part of the day you’d most like to make easier.
A little more independence for them. More breathing room for you.
- Help reduce repeat reminders. Give your child a clear visual chart to check for what comes next.
- Agree first, then follow the plan. Set tasks and rewards together before the morning rush or bedtime routine begins.
- Make everyday effort feel rewarding. Use points and chosen rewards to give completed missions something to build toward.
- Build responsibility one task at a time. Help your child mark progress and take pride in what they finish.
- Make expectations clear. Use the Family Contract to put your shared agreement on paper.
How it works
- Download and print. Get your PDF after purchase. Print the chart and the pages you want to use, then cut out your chosen cards.
- Choose your missions and rewards. Start with a few manageable tasks. Read the rules together, agree on rewards, and complete the Family Contract.
- Track, celebrate, and repeat. Mark progress on the Weekly Mission Chart and exchange earned points using the game rules. Review together and adjust your routine as needed.

10/10 recommend. The family contract is hilarious because my 6yo literally felt like a boss signing it 😂 It completely shifted the vibe in our house. Super easy to print and set up.
It’s not magic—you still have to enforce the rules—but having a visual chart makes it 100x easier. My daughter stops complaining when she sees her progress on the tracker. A bit of printing/cutting work upfront, but worth the effort.
If you have a stubborn toddler/kid JUST GET IT. We started using the family contract on day 1 and my son took it so seriously haha. Bedtime used to be a nightmare with meltdowns every night, now he checks off his own list. Thank you so much for this!!
Was kinda skeptical at first ngl. But my 7yo boy is super competitive so turning his daily chores into a game was brilliant. Bedtime routine went from 1 hour of chaos to 15 mins. Highly recommend for energetic kids.
Okay so I was literally losing my mind every single morning trying to get my 6yo dressed and ready for school. Saw this on TT and decided for 13 bucks why not. Honestly a game changer for us. My son loves checking off the tasks like it’s a mission. Only thing is I had to go to Staples to get it laminated because he kept bending the paper lol. But totally worth it!
Bought this to keep my grandkids structured while staying with me over the summer. It helped tremendously with keeping screen time down and getting their chores done. Only giving 4 stars because I had to print a couple extra pages for both kids, but the system itself works great.
Simple, cheap, and effective. The reward system is super smart. My kids actually WANT to brush their teeth and clean up now. 10/10.
OMG I love this kit so much. Printed it on thick cardstock, laminated everything, and stuck magnetic tape on the back for our fridge. My 5 and 9 year olds are obsessed with earning their rewards for the week. Best $13 I’ve spent on parenting stuff this year.
Works well with my 8 yr old daughter. She actually listens now without me shouting 10 times. Just keep in mind this is a DIGITAL download. You have to print it yourself. I used cardstock paper and it looks fine. Good product for the price.
The design is super cute and my kids liked the gamified reward system. I’m just giving 3 stars because I didn't realize I had to print everything out and cut it myself (my fault for not reading carefully I guess). If you don't mind printing stuff at home, it's a solid tool.
